Compliance evidence shouldn’t live in inboxes
Verifit exists because most UK small businesses run genuinely important checks — Right to Work, supplier vetting, certifications — with tools that were never designed to prove anything afterwards.
Where we are, honestly
VERIFIT LIMITED was incorporated in 2026 and is an early-stage company. We are building the Verifit platform with a small number of early customers and design partners, and this site describes the product’s capabilities as designed — not a mature enterprise suite, and not a customer base we don’t have.
You won’t find logo walls, testimonials or certification badges here, because we don’t have them yet. What we do have is a clear thesis about how compliance checks should work, working software, and an unusual willingness to say plainly what the product does and doesn’t do.
The thesis
A check is only as good as the evidence it leaves behind. Most verification failures at small companies aren’t bad intent — they’re a process held together by email threads, shared drives and one person’s memory. When a regulator, client or dispute asks “show me”, the check may have happened, but the proof has evaporated.
So Verifit is built evidence-first. Every workflow ends in a record: what was checked, by whom, against what criteria, when, and why the decision went the way it did. The pleasant side effect is speed — structured capture and automated first-pass checks are simply faster than the inbox.
Three commitments we can keep
-
Honest claims only
We state what we do and don’t do — no invented certifications, no imaginary customers, no “bank-grade” adjectives. If a claim is on this site, we can stand behind it.
-
Data minimisation by design
Identity documents are sensitive. We collect the minimum, retain to policy, delete on schedule, and never create biometric templates without explicit consent.
-
Evidence over vibes
Every feature must improve the record a customer can produce afterwards. If it doesn’t strengthen the audit trail, it doesn’t ship.
