    Screening steps slot into any workflow. Clear matches clear automatically; anything ambiguous lands in a review queue with the context a reviewer needs to decide — and every decision is recorded.

    • Sanctions listsScreen people and companies against published sanctions lists as a step in onboarding, with scheduled re-screening for ongoing relationships.
    • Review queuesPossible matches and failed checks route to named reviewers with side-by-side evidence, accept/reject criteria and a required written rationale.
    • Policy thresholdsSet what passes automatically and what always needs eyes — per check type, per risk level. Your policy, encoded once, applied every time.

  3. Evidence that holds up when it’s questioned

    Every capture, view, edit and decision is appended to a tamper-evident log — who did it, when, and what changed. When someone asks “how do you know?”, the answer is one export away.

  4. Built for more than one pair of hands

    Checks rarely belong to one person. Verifit gives each role exactly the view and the authority it needs, and shows the whole team what is still outstanding.

    • Dual sign-offRequire a second reviewer on high-risk decisions. Both identities are recorded in the audit trail, with independent rationales.

  5. Document capture, straight from a phone camera

    We’re building a Verifit companion app for iOS and Android so candidates, contractors and suppliers can capture documents cleanly in seconds — with quality checks done on the device before anything is sent. This stage is in development.

    • CameraUsed only during capture — the permission is requested when you scan, and can be revoked in device settings at any time.
    • On-deviceEdge detection, glare and blur checks run locally; only the final capture is uploaded.

  6. Security posture, stated plainly

    Here is exactly how the platform is built and run. Our security documentation is available to customers and prospects on request.

    • Data locationUK-based processing and storage by default, on Cloudflare infrastructure.
